Before I met my husband, I taught high school art for three years. My husband and I have been married 45 years and live in Findlay, Ohio. During the first half of our marriage, I had no time for art, as I was busy homeschooling my two sons and running a singing telegram business. It was a hectic time, juggling family and running all over NW Ohio delivering funny singing telegrams in costume and delivering balloons. In 2000 I sang my last telegram and slowly made my way back into art.
I have a BA degree in the Visual Arts from Anderson University and taught art and music in public and Christian schools. I have painted during church services and currently paint at my home studio and give private art lessons. I have exhibited my work in various venues in NW Ohio as well as the Toledo Museum of Art.

Music is also a passion of mine. My voice is classically trained, although for singing telegrams it was more comical. After I quit my singing telegram business, I devoted more time to Christian concerts and playing my harp at the bedside of the sick.

I've always had a compassion for the sick. I made a healing scriptures album which is available as a CD or through various online radio stations. It is called Healing Words From His Holy Word. It's an hour of healing scriptures and a bonus 16 minutes of instrumental harp music.
