THE ONION by Nancy Cupp
8.5" x 11" graphite drawing of an onion.  This is a drawing I made as an example to show my beginning drawing students about the study of light and shadows, turning a circle into a three dimensional form.  I was surprised that this sample drawing I made for my art students would be so popular on Pinterest and Fine Art America.  I honestly didn't think anyone would want it, but a lady from England bought the original for a friend of hers that had the last name of "Onion".  She thought it would be a great gift for her friend.  So it ended up in England.
