In 2009 I took a workshop with Trish McKinney based on the recommendation of an artist that I met at another workshop taught by Mitchell Tolle. I learned some fun new techniques using acrylic inks.  Spirit Fire was my first project.  Since this was an experimental new technique for me, I was surprised at how well it turned out.  I named it Spirit Fire because the colors reminded me of fire and the dove remind me of the Holy Spirit. I pray that my art inspired, uplifts, and points people to Jesus.

 

John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.  Luke 3:16

 

However, when the Holy Spirit of truth comes, He will lead you into all the truth. For He will not speak on His own authority, but will speak [only] what He hears [from the Father]. And He will tell you about the things that are to come. John 16:13

 

Acts 1:4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

 

Acts 1:8  But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

 

Acts 2: 1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
